Work work work
Well, I finished day 2 at my job. There has been a lot of learning. I spent basically all day puzzling over documents concerning a project that I am involved with. Several hours just trying to understand what the project actually was, and then a couple more looking at source code. Figuring out source code I have never seen before is not easy.
On top of that, when I got home I decided that I would sync my phone and my Outlook calendar for work. I figured that would be rather convenient. Lo and behold, though, when I synced it suddenly all of my appointments vanished! I sent out two emails requesting re-invitations to meetings before I found that I could re-accept some meeting requests that had ended up in the trash can. Eventually I got them back, but had it not been for the fact that there were basically only about 4 of them to lose in the first place, I would have been screwed.
Oh well. And I thought Missing Sync was crappy synchronization software. Microsoft, you have taken the cake. ActiveSync is truly horrendous.

I still don’t have a phone. :(
