Well, the move went pretty well. We got settled in at Lauren’s parents’ place. There was a lot of carrying of furniture, and we don’t have everything, but we have enough that it is our new primary place of lodging. We can grab the rest at our leisure.

So the SO had some new boots arrive, and I have nothing to do, so I took some photos for the blog.

They’re pretty decent. I still think they look a bit like boot liners though, what with the external seams. Apparently that’s a fashion matter though. I’ve never been much for fashion.

So the fiancé has food poisoning, we think. As far as we can tell she got it from some soup she ate yesterday for lunch. She was up almost all night vomiting, dry heaving, and enjoying diarrhea. She’s managed to keep down a couple saltine crackers and a popsicle so far, as well as half of a Jello cup.

Right now she’s finally sleeping.
